- Join us September 28th for an epic celebration for the Erie Canal’s 200th birthday! The “Seneca Chief,” a handmade replica of the iconic boat that first traveled the Erie Canal back in 1825, will arrive during the celebration in Perinton Park where there will be food, music, art, culture and fun to be had! Tour the Seneca Chief Sunday evening and all day Monday before it leaves Tuesday morning!
